Hub Overview
Understanding the Hub — Cosmo's real-time artifact canvas.
The Hub is the right panel in Cosmo's three-panel layout. It's an AI-generated, real-time canvas where artifacts are displayed, edited, and collaborated on.
Personal action center and recent work
The Hub home tab is always available. It shows your assigned open tasks and unassigned tasks you created, ordered by urgency, across accessible workspaces. Three actions are shown initially; Show all expands the list. Recent artifacts are ordered by their latest edit, and recent apps show the last three published apps you opened on this device. Select a team to narrow this overview.
The left conversation sidebar keeps Customize, New, and search. Conversations are grouped into collapsible team folders, ordered by their most recently used chat. Use the plus beside a team to create a chat in that team. Chats without team context appear under Personal; chats whose context is unavailable remain accessible under Other conversations. A chat's initial direct team grouping is remembered locally even when its active context changes; it does not grant access to that team or sync that grouping to another device.
The Apps section above conversations contains up to three recent apps, with their team names. Shortcuts are checked against current server access and published app availability. Open apps and artifacts appear beside the fixed home tab; switching tabs keeps their viewers mounted. Closing a tab does not delete its contents. Existing team, skill, and workspace navigation is retained.
Working on apps from the chat
You can ask the chat to find, open or create a team app by name, for example "make my Job Tracker app work" or "create a bid tracker app". The chat opens the app in the Hub beside it and carries on in the same reply; you do not need to open it first. If an app with that name already exists, the chat opens it instead of creating a duplicate, and if two apps match it asks which one you mean. A new app is created in the chat's team, or in your personal team when the chat has none; say a team name to choose another. Changing an app's screens and data, and publishing it, work as before and only for the app's authors. Apps can also use your own connected integrations; see Connectors in Team Apps.
